Graupner MX-20 HOTT Radio System
« on: April 15, 2012, 04:18:15 PM »
I posted my first impressions on our website http://www.skss.org/wordpress/graupner-mx-20-hott-radio-system/
At half the price of a JR12x, it was a no-brainer purchase.
"What is that thing over there?"
"It is not a thing.  It is an airplane. My airplane."[...]
"What, you fell out of the sky?"
"Yes", I said modestly.
"Oh, that's funny..."

Gerald: Thanks for the report on your new radio. I was very impressed with the system capability, quality of the product and like you said, you cannot beat the price. First chance I get, I'm going to the web site and check out their radio line.

Thanks again,

Jim

Well, I have now a couple of hours on the radio and I am very happy with it.

Last night, I installed a 12 channel receiver in my Sport Klemm Flying Special 5000 electric glider.  It has a V-tail and eight wing surfaces ( 4 flaps, 4 ailerons ).  The built-in mixers provide for a no-hassle setup.  It took me about an hour 'on the bench' to dial in three flight modes (Normal, Thermal, Speed).  Not a single mixer needed to be programmed!
